I agree, I think you should change party affiliation. Bye bye...

I still want an answer to the heart of his candacy which is how is the most liberal memeber of congress going to unite the country. There is not a single example of him trying to work with conservatives to solve a problem or create "change" in Washington. How's he going to do it as president. That's why his candacy is a joke and he'll never be elected.

Aug. 24, 2007 | WASHINGTON -- It was sort of like finding a Christmas tree in a cornfield. In late July and early August, Iowa Republican voters were asked to name their choice for president in a University of Iowa poll. Mitt Romney, who leads most Iowa surveys, got 22 percent of the total. Rudy Giuliani came in second with 10 percent. But third place went to a Democrat, Barack Obama, who got nearly 7 percent -- more than Mike Huckabee, John McCain and Sam Brownback combined.

Not to worry: The Obama campaign isn't likely to join the Grand Old Party, and pollsters are convinced that Obama has exactly zero chance of winning the Republican caucus in Iowa. But something is going on. "I don't want to make too much of it," says David Redlawsk, the professor who commissioned the poll. "But I do think that the message Obama is putting out right now is the most likely to reach across party lines."

There are other signs of Obama's crossover appeal. Over the last several months, Frank Luntz, a Republican pollster, has been holding focus groups for various media organizations like Fox News to find out what the public thinks of the presidential candidates. "I would ask Republicans, 'Which Democratic candidate would you accept? Who would you consider to vote for?'" Luntz says. "Obama would get more than everybody else combined. Hillary [Clinton] and [John] Edwards have no crossover voters."

Before you post in a public forum, maybe you should educate yourself on who Obama really is, and take some grammar/spelling lessons along with that. Your posting shows how ignorant some people can really be. It is truly heart breaking. Obama wants change and it's people like you who prevent our country from moving forward.

I agree I think Obama is a joke for the presidency. Supoorting terrorist. Has some proof thought he might be Muslim. Has a racist pastor that he has been going to for 20 yrs. The bitter comment. People that cling to religion and guns are statiscally happier, so that comment went out the window. Wants more of a goverment controlled america. White people are stupid for voting for this guy and very misinformed. I have black friends and the reason most of them are saying that they are voting for him is because they have to support their race, or they're sick of bush. I'm sick of bush too. Plain out and simple though, I'd rather vote for four more years of bush then have a racist anti-american muslim running my country.

When has a centrist ever united the country? Candidates for president who run to the center tend to have small margins of victory and administrations known for gridlock and sniping over nonsense.

Rove: Obama hasn't worked across party linesDate: 02/21/2008

Falsehood: In a Wall Street Journal editorial today, Karl Rove claimed that Barack Obama has not worked across party lines since arriving in Washington in 2004.

"Mr. McCain can now question Mr. Obama's promise to change Washington by working across party lines. Mr. Obama hasn't worked across party lines since coming to town," Rove wrote.

Fact: Obama actually has worked across party lines on a couple of bills since he won his U.S. Senate seat back in 2004.

Specifically, Obama worked with Republican Sen. Dick Lugar to get the Lugar-Obama bill passed. According to Obama's Senate website, the bill "enhances U.S. efforts to destroy conventional weapons stockpiles and to detect and interdict weapons and materials of mass destruction throughout the world."

In addition, Obama worked with Oklahoma Republican Sen. Tom Coburn on the Coburn-Obama bill. The bill set up a database that tracks where federal dollars are being spent and which contractors receive federal funding.

Do you people ever have any information to back up your opinions?

Well we know Obama is anti-second amendment and will be happy to take your guns away. So we can have more of a socialist or a dictator type of country. Yeah buddy that's what type of president i want.

When I first read this I assumed you doing a parody of the initial poster, sadly enough I was mistaken. I think it's a very telling sign that people who write makes these comments are obviously devoid of any education beyond 9th grade. It makes me ashamed as an American that there are still so many people out there who will believe anything and not even attempt to use critical thought when making a decision that is so important to our country. These are sad times indeed.

After reading the other two posts that jinxster has put on the Fray, I think it's clear that he or she is just a troll looking for someplace to spew after last night's results.

Take his or her idiocy with a grain of salt.
