America has no shortage of combat troops in Iraq and Afghanistan that our loyal ally Israel cannot provide. And best of all, the flush Israeli citizen-taxpayers will fund these loyal-ally troops out of their own pockets -- or at least by waiving their annual (if not eternal) guilt-trip extortion allotment of 3 billion dollars or so in American taxpayer "aid."

Yes. America's loyal ally Israel will come through for America -- with both troops and treasure -- in our time of need. Aparthied-Zionist Israelis really appreciate America going bankrupt doing Israel's dirty work making a billion-and-a-half Muslims hate America for the next few centuries, at least. What good fortune for America to have loyal allies like Israel, even when they refuse any formal alliance with the United States for fear that reciprocal treaty obligations might require them to come to America's assistance once in awhile.

Could be a useful strategy, throw the IDF troops in some obscure corner of Iraq and watch the insurgents and terrorists draw to them like water to a sponge. I could only imagine how heinous an affront to the region it would be to put Jews in the heart of the Middle East. We could just kick back and pick them off as they come running...IDF used as bait, great idea.

If you recall Desert Storm, Saddam sent some missiles into Israel with the express purpose of drawing them into the war. Had Israel taken the bait, all of our Arab allies would have bailed. We had to do some diplomatic damage control to keep Israel safely out of things and maintain the coalition. If we brought Israel in now, it would have the same effect. They'd fight very effectively, but shatter our hopes of a viable political solution. We need at least a few people on our side.

In the meantime, though, it'd be really funny to watch. The Israelis are extremely good at what they do. :-)

When has this admisitration sought a political solution to Iraq? Right now US troops are helping instigate a civil war.
