Michelle/Barack & Wright article
by patrice3737

I completely agree that it likely was Michelle who kept the Obama's going to that church all of those years, and more likely still, she probably was there often when Reverend Wright preached many of his sermons that even Barack would cringe at.

Main stream media has ignored Michelle's thesis and much of her tone on the campaign trail. Barack must share her views, or many of them, judging by their loving body language when they are together. They are a real couple, in love, and usually in those cases, share many of the same views. He tries to act as if the feelings of his "former" preacher (though on the church's website, Wright is still listed as senior pastor) are not at all his own, but many past comments suggest otherwise.

Seeing them as a couple though, how they interact, there is no believable way that she would have not shared "rough" sermons from the Reverend with him.

The article didn't even get into the other associations, such as Rezco & Ayers, people who Republicans and their connected groups, will feature daily thru November in tv ads. Obama will give speeches and renouncements, toss them under the bus time and time again, and cable commentators will swoon, and on it will go.

The most important thing of all is that he just continues to be disconnected from low income struggling people. He might have come from modest means, but really appears to have forgotten what many of us go through just to get enough groceries to feed our families, and afford enough fuel to get back and forth to work. Kennedy's got it, Clinton's get it, but the Obama's don't.

Where do you get the idea that he's disconnected from working folks? Is it his middle class tax cut proposals? His calls for worker rights in trade agreements? Proposals for affordable health care? Or is it his calls for oversight to prevent predatory lending practices? Maybe it's his proposed tax cuts to keep jobs in America. Just because the media would rather cover what his minister said or what his neighbor did when he was 8 doesn't give you an excuse to be ignorant of his actual stance on issues.

Anytime a post concludes with but Hill or Bill gets it, you know the author of the post really doesn't get it. Agree 100% with you post.

Ask not what we can do for the country, but what the country can do for us! Free medical, pay my mortgage, free college tuition, dollar gasoline, good job where I don't have to work hard (let the Mexicans do the hard stuff) etc,etc,etc,----
