Well yeah, but...
by confetti

Great article, and distinctly, frequently true, but actually in this case? Another issue is much more decisive.

Poor rednecks and factory/blue collar workers are really, really racist. I know this first hand. North and south. Not all of 'em. Just most of them. Really, that's all that's going on here. The rest is just spin to cover it. It was always gonna be something.

Damn it.

I don't know. Most folks down here will vote for a local black guy over a fancy-pants candidate of any color.

It's about class and whether you put on airs. Not the color of your skin or the size of your bank accout.

poor blacks and inner city black factory/blue collar workers are really racist, I know this first hand. Los Angeles anyway. Not all, just most. Black middle and upper class too, maybe in lesser percentage. Lots of Black Supremecy types.

Somtimes, when I close my eyes. I can't tell a black inner city redneck racist, from a white small town redneck racist.

So the thinking goes that if you don't vote for Obama you're a racist and that's it?

I am a Northeast factory worker and I know something first hand, too. We're not all racist, as you say, most of us aren't, I disagree with you there. But then again, maybe I just worked in better factories.

I'm just tired of these generalizations. I disagree with some of his platform, not all, and my choice left the race early. That does not make me a racist. This divisive stuff isn't helping Obama's efforts.

lol and what do you call 96% support rate for a persons race? The real spin machine, is trying to say with a straight face that race doesn't matter to African Americans. You can blame race if you like, but then whats your excuse for John, 'Obama lite" Kerry losing?
