I'm sure you remember this board and Today's Papers in 2004. Well, this time, the Democrats will likely win, and the Republican fear- and hatemongering will be overflowing from now until November.

And I find it noticeably cowardly of Mr. Ryerson and Mr. Lono (neither of whom is among my constituents, as it turns out) to not name any names of people they are accusing of racism or "obvious freeper"ism, whatever that may be. Any coward can throw out a blanket indictment anonymously; those of us in public life, know how common that is. And how meaningless. Your courage in presenting your often unpopular opinions has been noted in my office and among my staff, who urge you to continue to keep posting and not let yourself be hounded off this "Fray" by people who are afraid to hear or confront, unpopular opinions or even just opinions that differ from theirs. America would be a very boring place, indeed, if everyone only hewed to ONE viewpoint or set of policies.
