I've kind of wondered that myself. The world doesn't need another Brittany.....

I think people need to give the girl a break. The photos were taken by a very famous photographer who is known for her edgy, controversial style. I don't think the photo of them was incestual although it may have been slighty age inappropriate. Think about it. A famous photographer approaches Mylie and and promises to make her look gorgeous and all grown up. I'm sure Mylie's only thought was- where do I sign? As any kid her age would. Give her break.

Anyone catch AI last night? That was a good show. I am starting to see the light with David Cook. He has been impressive. My favorite is Jason Castro though. There has never been an Idol contest who I like so much that I cared to download their songs before, but I loved his versions of "Hallelujah," "Travelin Through" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." I play those songs all the time. :)

You're one of the few that I've heard that actually likes Jason. I love him too. I would love to have a CD of his someday. His singing is so soothing and relaxing.

I love David Cook, but I only liked his 2nd performance last night.

I think Syesha is nearly perfect. I don't know why the judges don't like her??

David Archuleta is just too cute and cuddly. I want to take him home and make a pet out of him. lol...

I've wanted to see Brooke go home for weeks.

But, who should go home tonight?? PAULA ABDUL. I don't think I can stomach her anymore...

LOL yeah Paula really embarrassed herself last night! I think Brooke's welcome has worn out as well. As for Syesha, I don't even think she needs AI! That girl is awesome. She will be a big star.

Jason has had some real stinkers over the weeks, like "Memories" and "Don't Wanna Cry" (I hated both of those) and his style is so distinct, so I think that's why the judges give him hell. But I for one have already bought several of his songs on iTunes so I know I'll buy his album when it comes out. His version of Over the Rainbow would make a great wedding song, and I play that freakin Hallelujah song incessantly. lol

Over all I hope it comes down to either Jason and David Cook, or Jason and Syesha.

p.s. I think Paula made a similar comment about David A. She said she wanted to hang him from her rear view mirror and pinch his cheeks all day. ROFL My mom can't stand him for some reason, she thinks if he ever got really famous he will rebel and become one of those child prodigy nightmares on VH1 Where Are They Now.

David Archuleta kinda creeps me out. He's too serious for 16. I mean seriously -- he sings this powerful song and then he just stands tehre and stares blankly at the judges.... and then he smiles this little boy smile, then goes back to staring blankly.... weird, yo!

Now, I actually liked "Memories". I felt like he was swooning me right through the TV....lol.

Oh yes...."Hallelujah" was gorgeous. One of the most memorable performances of the season. The other memorable ones come mainly from David Cook. I loved his version of Hello and Eleanor Rigby. They gave me goosebumps....

I'm glad you said that- I felt guilty for thinking Jason's hot since he's like 12 years younger than me. lol

Yeah, I really liked David C's version of Mariah Carey's "Always Be My Baby." Who knew Mariah could rock! <link>

I love David A.'s personality. You just know that he's a nice kid. Heck, a lot of adults don't even act as mature as he does.

"Always Be My Baby" was kind of weird for me. I thought he did a great job.....but it was difficult to put the original out of my head, which was so fun and bubbly. Here, David makes a little more serious.

He's great though....I love him.

I don't want anyone to go hoome at this point. Can't we just keep all 5 and make a new weekly series out of it. lol

I'd like to see Brooke go. To me, she almost sounds monotone when she sings. I guess some people like that....

She does a great Joan Baez impersonation, even without meaning to! She is my pick to go home tonight. But Idol has been known to pull some surprised before...
