You *are* Kinbote - the tone is perfect. Your attitude is disgusting, Dmitir Nabokov should be ashamed of himself for not having carried out his father's wish decades ago. The 'visitation' is not from the ghost of Nabokov, but from the possibility of money. In refusing to do what the writer wanted, you are effectively attempting to take advantage of a dying man, who was too weak to protect his creative legacy. If hacks and scholars were serious about studying Nabokov's writing, there's endless work still to be done on his massive oeuvre. Of course, it's all about sensationalism, which you prove in your pathetic and fantastical speculations about the manuscript, and your repeated tabloid headline 'the greatest novelist of the last century'. You make a joke about the Da Vinci Code in your article, but your conduct and tone come straight out of that kind of thriller. Perhaps once you get your hands on the manuscript, you should go on the Jerry Springer show with them
