Paper recycling? Wrong question.

Interesting discussion of answers (A) and (B), with no mention whatsoever of the correct answer, (C) - stop using so much paper. Do you have fax machines that turn incoming bits into paper? You shouldn't; the incoming bits should go directly into a PDF. Do your suppliers send you paper bills? They should be billing you electronically. Do you send out paper bills? Hey, you're catching on! Now go do it.

And a good place to start is:

ANY government office.

ANY medical facility.

These are great places that totally don't need the paper the use.

In your comments, "Do you send out paper bills?" These usually are the ones that send 2 adds, 4 or more pages to tell you why they are billing you.

AND ON AND ON THEY GO.

Quit using it!!!!!! That simple.

Absolutely! One of the few benefits of mega corporations is that most meetings are done online, so the presentation deck is emailed instead of handed out at meetings.

A great way to purge your mailbox of unwanted catalogs is http://www.greendimes.com/ - they handle getting catalog companies to stop sending you catalogs, and are reasonable effective with getting 'charitable' organizations to stop mailings too.
