Thank you, Jesus. I am so tired, even weary, of these bizarre correctness-tests posited by Sean Hannity and his friends. I am myself a native American, and have never even been outside of North America, yet I no more care about Sutter's Mill than I do about the psychological make-up of the goldfish in the bowl I just cleaned.

Noonan's inexplicably whitewashed nostalgia for a wondrous Never-Never Land is, I suspect, part of the problem.
