The media did a hatchet job on the Rev. Wright so in his speech to the NAACP he wanted to set the record straight. I believe that the world has a better grasp of Rev. Wright. Than the media sound bites that were used to discredit this man who has spent 30 years in the pulpit. If he was so Anti-American or hated this country you would have heard about the man before now. But this whole vicious cycle was set into motion by the media and was largely used to make Barack Obama look badly. Fortunately, I don’t believe this will be enough to derail Barack. He will make history in spite of those who would try and derail him in his chance to be nominated by the Democrats as their man against John McCain in the election for the presidency

You could not be more wrong, if you read or listen to the Rev. Wright speeches you will find out that the media selectively took parts of the speech to make it inflammatory. And that the full context of the speech gives a much clearer meaning.
