Clinton vs. Obama if obama backs away.
by RossanaTallaj

Personally, I think that the way you guys are making it sound its very unfare to Hillary Clinton. Everyone just keeps harassing her with ignorance, in reguards to her campaign vs. obama's campaign. I dont think that she is doing nothing wrong but standing for her rights as an american. I thought that in america people had rights and that is exactly what she is doing. She stays in the race because every vote counts and that is the way that it is with elections and that is the way that it is everywhere, then why should she back off, when what she is doing is giving every american the right to their own votes. If she backs away, then when america says that everyone has the right to vote, this is said only for making believe. That is unfair for her and for the american people. Every day I hear the press attacking her in reguards to racism, this is becoming a big issue and they are trying to blame clinton for this, but the fact of the matter is that the people whom are saying this are indeed blind themselves, because they are not seeing with their eyes and feeling inside their hearts, that truely the ones that are being racist and that have brought racism into the light of the nomination have been solely the obama campaign and their followers. The reason why, they brought this into the campaign and into the voters eyes, is because they knew that as soon as you threw in the word "Racism", the blacks would feel as though the were being cheated out, and not considered. This would then flow into every black americans heart and decide their votes on a personal level leaning towards obama and not thinking with their minds, not thinking for the best of the country. All we are hearing is about racism against the black but what everyone needs to see is that the black is in reality the ones that are being racist against the whites this time, its as if they are all ganged up together to back fire against their history, and that is not correct. We are seeing that the ones that are being racist against the clintons are the black generation, and being racist against a women being president. This is occuring and you dont hear the clintons speaking so much about the fact that some people do not want to accept a women to be president and you dont hear them talking so much about the fact that the blacks are not supporting her & in the other hand you see that some whites are supporting obama regardless of him being white and the percentage talks that out on its own, the math speaks for itself and it proves it. So, in fact the blacks are the ones that are being racist and inconsiderate with the nation. If this wouldve been a candidacy all about whites and mens, then everyone wouldve been supporting their own candidates in the right state of mind, with their correct reasons, and with consideration of the american status and situation. No one is seeing the status that the united states is in right now, they are more inclined into the fact that because they are seeing that for the first time in history there is a black candidate to be president of the nation, then that gives them the right to think incorrectly and incline themselves for the color and race and not because of the country's needs. In this moment the reality of the fact is that the country is at stake here, and that is going to affect everyone living in it, black, white, latinos ect..., and if they dont hold back on their own grudges and infant psychology, then they are going to ruin the country and ruin their own living and their childrens right for a good living in the future. Right now, the country is in a financial down fall and what the country and the people and the people's children need is for us to take a close look at all of the right facts and consider the situation in making the right decision for the democratic party, which means that we all need to see what is right for all, and what is right for all is to incline towards the most correct person for the nomination because the clinton's proved to be good for the country's well being, and when the gulf war, they went into office and did bring the country back to life and to wealth. Which makes them be the correct president for this time, since they did it before they have the correct state of mind and strategies to do it all over again. But if obama wins although he wants change, people dont really know what type of change it is that he is going to be bringing upon us, besides the fact that he is saying, deep down inside we are unsure of that change that he is talking about, maybe he want the best and maybe he doesnt, maybe he would make it be, and maybe he wont, it could be his inexperience or it could be something else, but the real facts talk on its own, the clintons are the sure thing that we all have, and that is the real fact. Dont incline towards what is in the air, when the security is for sure and is there with the clinton's. That is all that I have to say!

Dont leave what is sure for what you dont have and dont even know if you will ever have it.....

That is the way I think and with the situation that the country is in right now we all need to be unified and think appropriately no matter whether we are black, white, hispanic ect... or whether the candidate is white, black or hispanic ect.... what the country needs is the correct thing.

I am crying out loud to america, dont make a mistake, open your eyes, analyze the situation and do what is right for all, dont make a mistake, because that could be the biggest and strongest mistakes of our lives.

In conclusion, I don't have anything against obama, I actually simpathize with him and like him, I just dont think this is his time, I dont think this is the right time for him. If he goes for candidate in 2012, I will actually throw my vote for him, but right now I am thinking for the better of all, the country, the children, and all. Right now, in this country's situation the only ones that can fix this country and have proved with their past administration, those are the clinton's, this is why I have decided to speak out and say the facts that everyone is avoiding due to unreasonable basis.

Myself, I am not white, nor black I am hispanic/arabian and I dont have nothing against any of the candidates, but I am seeing what no one seems to be seeing.

I wish you all could make the right choice and for god to help for this to happen. Good luck!

Sincerely,

Rossana Tallaj/American Citizen

Rossana, I respect your opinion but I believe you have things twisted a bit. It was Bill Clinton who blatantly brought up the race issue in South Carolina when he first responded to Obama winning South Carolina, and compared him to Jesse Jackson. Then, a Clinton surrogate "mistakenly" called him Barack Hussein Osama. Then, Geraldine Ferraro injected her remarks about how if Obama were white he would not be a viable candidate, as if being black gives anyone a tremendous advantage in politics or anyplace else. Then, the media and political opposition began stirring the pot of controversy more with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright sound bites. Even Hillary took her turn at stirring the controversial soup when she injected her opinions about Rev. Wright during the ABC debate in Pennsylvania.

And as far as mainstream media goes, besides being owned by BIG business and swayed by special interests, they have a lot to lose if Obama is elected. They fear that Obama, and the many more democratic congressional seats he will bring with him in the general election, will begin to call for government regulation of the media, which is how it was before Reagan-Bush-Clinton-Bush era. If this happens, bigots like Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh will have to tone down their hate speeches and ignorant rhetoric.

And, as far as your comments that "the blacks are the ones that are being racist and inconsiderate with the nation," of all the African-Americans I know, speak with, or have had the opportunity to hear or read their opinions, 90 percent or more have taken the high road on this. In fact, I was approached this week by an African-American who, after talking to me at the local V.A. hospital for about 5 minutes about various other issues, leaned towards me and spoke in a very low voice, "What's your impression of the folks running in this election?" After I told him that I didn't like how McCain and Clinton were using the same fear-mongering attacks to scare people and continue down the same road as Bush, he looked at me and said, "I think you answered my question." Like so many African-Americans here in the South, he probably was a Clinton supporter before they started stirring up the racial pot the past several months. And while I'm on this issue, think about it . . . African-Americans, are being continually referred to by the color of their skin (black) by the media and most of white America, and not by their heritage. Why is that? Don't you find it offensive when people refer to Hispanics as "brown people?"

And, like you, Rossana, I hope we can unite as a party after the primaries and vote someone into office who is not a Bush clone or a media puppet. We need to give this country back to the people. I believe we can. But if we don't do it while the doors of opportunity are opened for us, it will be much more difficult to do 4 or 8 more years down the road.
