Yes, because all rap music is the same except it's not. Not liking the genre is one thing but seeing with blinders doesn't exactly help strengthen your criticism. What you've described is one side of it. RIght now it's the popular side so it seems as if that's all that exists but it's not. Even linguists have marveled over the way rappers change words to suit their purpose. Sometimes they fail but sometimes it's genius. Perhaps it doesn't fir your definition of music but at one time or another most music has gotten the same bad rap (seriously no pun intended).
