McCain's "Wrighteous" Act

I wouldn't place much credibility on McCain's request for the North Carolina Republicans to pull the Jeremiah Wright spot; his request (wink, wink) which he knows will be ignored (or is it by design) allows him to appear to take the high road and keep his hands clean while the ad still plays. Additionally, it brings even greater media attention to both the spot and his magnanimous act, which brings free air time for the spot nationally.

To see it any other way is to be gullible (and have pre-Rovian thinking.)

Yep, it sure is too bad that Obama gave McCain the Wright issue to use in any fashion. Go to the headwaters of the problem instead of blaming anyone for any of their actions, even if you have to spin them wildly. Wright is a big problem for Obama because of Obama and only Obama.

"Wright is a big problem for Obama because of Obama and only Obama."

Damn straight. And anyone who claims that this won't be a problem in Nov. between Obama and McCain is seriously deluding themselves.
