A few thoughts
by earth_wiccan

First off...people who eat meat are NOT carnivores... we are omnivores, as we do not exclusively consume meat, please AND thank you.

Another consideration, the things that make meat taste good to use, such as fat marbling in beef, are often results of how the animals' bodies grow and develop. If you just grow the muscle tissue with no consideration for the other tissues that would be present in meat from an actual animal, then I guarantee it will taste nothing like what we're used to.

Also, PETA is a steaming pile, and could do with a bit of honesty, and integrity. If they're really so invested in this cause, then you'd think they might go about convincing others with more dignity. People do not like to be berated about, well, much of anything. And I do not look kindly on hypocrisy and sensationalism. They help fund eco-terrorism, as well as lobby groups such as the Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine (which, by the way, has members who aren't even physicians...how much sense does that make?). I just don't trust them.

I couldn't agree more. To support PETA in any size shape or way is to support terrorism. It may be eco-terrorism, but terrorism is terrorism. It's amazing to me that a group of people who consume no meat can be so full of bull.

If PETA really wanted a good cause to spend that mill on, they could use it for the psychological help they so richly deserve.
