I agree with the Times:
by mrachmuth

"Tuesday’s result was “even meaner, more vacuous, more desperate, and more filled with pandering than the mean, vacuous, desperate, pander-filled contests that preceded it. Voters are getting tired of it; it is demeaning the political process; and it does not work."

I'm tired, angry, and just want it to be over. It looks like, come November, I will again be voting for the least objectionable, and that won't be Sen. McCain.

Yawn... So basically your saying you don't like political contests, you just prefer when one gets a lead that everybody calls it a day? Whatever, I wish the Republicans were going through the same process, good things happen with the candidates are vetted.

Patron002: In this case, I agree with you and the NYT. I'm from South Carolina (where Lee Atwater lived and worked) and the Clintons ran a classic, Lee Atwater filthy campaign and I'm glad they were called on it. But if the campaign has not continued, I would never have known that Hillary Clinton actually has a foreighn policy agenda which is to the right of JohnMcCain, to the right of George Bush and far to the right of George H Bush, who actually believed in and tried diplomac

"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran," she said. "In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them." - Hillary on ABC on Tuesday

Obliterate them. Civilians. Women. Children. Look over some international papers today. American papers are ignoring her statement, but the rest of the world is not.

more men will die than females and children..as they always do...when you fail to list them and only refer to women and children, it makes you sexist..but you and yours never say that..

It is clear that she is pathological and hallucinating. Magic math, obliterating countries, tons of experience, hard as nails fighter—WE GET IT CLINTON! You have a gigantic dick, maybe even bigger than GWB's.

You can stop waving it around now.

No, basically, you are wrong about what I'd like. I'm not discouraged by the length of the campaign: Rather, I'm discouraged by its tenor. I'd be both interested, engaged, and actually energized, if it were fought on the basis of issues and positions, and not on flag lapel pins, ministers, and old friends. (Who is more ready and able to lead is a valid point, but it is not being well made, and in fact is being misplayed.)

No, I'm not sorry about the fact that Sen. Clinton is still in the race: I'm sick and tired of the embarrassing and self-defeating campaigne the candidates are waging.
