My quest: can I beat the snot out of a renegade delegate?
by blacktech

I actually went to a caucus in my voting district and spent the time to vote for my delegates -- one male, one female. If I found out that either of my delegates had changed their vote just because they wanted to, my friends would have to lock me up so that I wouldn't hunt down the renegade asses and repeatedly apply a rolling pin to their heads. Screw state law. Screw the DNC. I don't care what the fine print says. It's morally wrong to change your vote when you've been elected to vote a certain way. I know -- moral obligations are so whatever these days. At least to Clinton, anyway.

If this suggestion of hers isn't an indication of why she shouldn't be our president, I don't know what is. Anyone who supports her must ask themselves why they are standing behind someone who would request people to break their promises to perhaps thousands of people they represent. If you think her "experience" outweighs her need to be morally responsible, then you are part of The Problem.

hmm

where I live the delegates don't have to/often don't reveal which candidate gets their vote

I guess there's less huntin' down and whackin' that way

Yeah, true. We'd then have to round them up and, like the Inquisition, "put them to the question." Which, according to the CIA, works, but I'm thinkin' no.
