The "surge" never had much of a chance, and you know it.
In fact, it is people like you and your hero Mr Bush and his other apologists who've "lost" the war on Iraq.
First of all, there was never a need for us to start a war in Iraq.
Having lied us into an unnecessary war, Bush knew full well that he could never come clean with wingnuts like you and tell the obvious truth that he was in way over his head and that the general were right all along.
To do that, he would have asked you to support a major tax increase and possibly a military draft.
He knows his band of cowardly little flag waving dittoheads would never put their money where their mouths are, so he didn't either.
We've had four years of grin and spin, sucess is just around the corner drivel from this Adminstration and its talk radio allies.
There has never been a real strategy for victory in Iraq, and there have never been the resources that would have been needed to achieve it.
You and your ilk would never had actually supported doing "whatever it takes":.
Democrats gave Bush and his henchmen everything they ever asked for.
That fact alone makes your "blame the Democrats": talk radio chant into nothing more than a transparant lie.
So, enjoy what's left of the war you yelled and screamed for.
IF Iraq descends into even more chaos than it is in now, remember your did your part to make it that way.
And when you pull up to the gas pump to buy your $3 gallon gas, remember that the war your wanted so badly helped make it that high!
Aren't you proud.
(I'll bet you don't even have your yellow ribbon on your truck anymore!)
