But why Hillary?

I can understand any woman, feminist or not, wanting to vote for a woman for President or any office. Having a reasonable amount of representation of ideas and issues that women my be more concerned with then male politicians seems to me to be good for the body politic. I believe that there are many well qualified women who are good legislators and inspiring leaders -- Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Jennifer Granholm (although since she was born in Canada, she's not eligible to be President), Patsy Murray, Mary Landreau, Janet Napolitano, Olympia Snow (from the GOP), to name a few. I could support any of these women in a bid for the Presidency. But, I don't believe that Hillary Clinton should be President. I believe that she, as an individual, has shown herself to be Nixonian in her political rhetoric and behavior. Just as there are women who are well suited to lead our country, there are women who are poorly-suited to lead our country. I have carefully considered Hillary Clinton and find her to be poorly-suited for the job, especially in an era in which the President has so much power and the Consitutional checks have been weakened. Please let me make that decision without calling me names or imputing bad intentions to me.

Very well said. I find the Hillary nutcracker outrageous. I think the sexist comments are disgusting. But, looking at the facts of Hillary, I will not vote for her.

The fact that she displays little talent for building coalitions, and she seems to want to lead by fiat, well, in a time of executive power run mad, I prefer the constitutional scholar. Obama has demonstrated that he can build coalitions. His work in Chicago's South Side is impressive. And he teaches constitutional law.

I ahve no problem voting for a woman.

But at least can we get them less greedy?

Nancy Pelosi?

Please, she is just a rich investor from N. Cal. who decided one day to turn politician, she hires illegal immigrants in her vineyards. She is too rich (and ugly) to represent the majority of us women.

And Hillary, she is too greedy and she just blew it long ago.

Good point, clarinda, I wouldn't want an ugly woman as president. That would make the last seven years look easy! Thanks for your insightful opinion.
