eating dog or pig

Some of us experience fewer moral dilemmas than others concerning diet. Vegetarians do not eat dog or pig. We respect the rights of animals to live a natural life, not the life of pain and suffering of factory farm animals. As I said to a co-worker describing the delicious tenderness of his babyback ribs dinner the night before: "Yes it must be much like eating a baby." I was no longer invited to car-pool with him in his Prius. If everyone ate as vegetarians do no one on the planet would go hungry and our environment would be so much less polluted. I'm not the activist I should be, but just being vegetarian is such a great help to the earth and all its creatures.

You can be the activist you think you should be, if you choose to be.

My first thought when I saw the "would you eat dog meat?" msn link to this article was: Wouldn't it be easier to just go pull up a turnip than to eat the dog? I wouldn't anymore eat a dog than eat a person! One would be about as appetizing as the other if food ever gets that scarce...

:o)

And some of use realize that these are animals and meat is fucking delicious.

And we don't have to be self-righteous cockwads to do it either! Amazing.
