One Clinton was enough
by tinaTINA
Sweetie, when you say that "theclintons" are always "living, eating, drinking, and breathing politics" it reminds me of my friends who are always talking about their money and their houses. Oh wait, it's the same thing.

Usually the people who talk about money the most are the ones who know the most about it. Typically, we call them..."successful."

The reason that the Clintons spend so much time being politically active is because they aren't so wrapped up in their own selves that they have to go around drudging up crap about other politicians or sitting in front of their television or computer screens to get something done. They're the ones out there doing what we like to criticize.

The sadder thing is that most of the people who support her campaign are also out there "getting things done." Most of them can't spend their leisure time online, watching the base-minded superficially pander against them.

I guess it takes one to know one. Some "friends" you have.

Darling, actually they are in-laws not friends. Are you so frighteningly young that you don't see theclintons for the self-serving egomaniacs that they are.

I forgot to add that the wealthiest people I have known never talk about their wealth.

If they don't talk about money with you, perhaps they feel sorry for you (or find you wholly incompetent on that score)?

Thanks for the compliment of my youthful mind!

Dirty politics may have been invented by the republicans, but the Clintons took the practice and made it their own. It may be a shrewd move in politics to do this, and dirty politics have been around since almost the beginning of time, but it is also not very cool. Let's look at the situation as it stands now, Hillary is in a prolonged primary battle with Obama, and it's starting to get nasty, I don't particularly mind as it only serves to helo Mccain, but for those democrats out there it has gone way past a healthy exercise in democracy it is now hurting your own partys and tearing it apart. Despite the fact that Hillary has a slim to none chance of securing her parties nomination she refuses to step aside, because she feels she deserves this. Way back after Kerry Lost to Bush in '04 she started plotting this she wants it so bad, she has even said as much, to paraphrase she said she has always wanted to be president. The only thing I will give Obama over Hillary is that he seems to have some integrity and doesn't change his mind on things when someone passes gas and it changes the winds of popular opinion. Get real she is power hungry, self serving and a witch with a b at the beginning. The real reason she and Bill have stayed together is very simple they have previously made a formidable political team but it looks like that may be ending here and now.
