He is young. A great speaker. Highly educated. But his preacher preaches hate and bigotry. Like all preachers Wright maintains a level of fear so his flock will keep the status quot. As others have said, his wife and children were subjected to this kind of hate. So in his child's eyes what do you think they see? I believe they will certainly see hatred, bigotry, a way to get back at, etc. Now if Barrack Obama believes it is OK to go to this preachers sermons with his wife and children then his being is questionable. No reward should be given for bad behavior. The man who will never say he is mixed or mulatto, gives body bumps to his black associates, while a handshake is given to other races. This says a lot about his stinkin thinkin. His so called truthful speech at a fund raiser is not only elitist but bigoted. He hammered the nails into his own coffin this time. No, you've got it all wrong.

First, his preacher is bombastic, not a hateful bigot. The few times he might have stepped over the line have been blown out of proportion so it seems like 20 solid years of rhetoric.

Second, Obama has never hidden the fact that he is half white. He identifies as black and america certainly sees him as black and most black americans are at least 10% caucasian.

Third, his comments about the bitterness of people who used to have good paying manufacturing jobs but vote against their own economic self-interest over wedge issues like abortion and guns is correct. Obama is siding with these people economically and rejecting the politics of the right wingers.

Bob Dylan wrote a song about this same issue. Instead of guns and abortion the politicians used fear and bigotry to unite the poor white workers against their own economic self interest. Defecting blame and distracting voters from the important issues is how we find ourselves in this sorry state.

Get a clue, remember the Clinton's friends, Marc Rich and his wife, remember their friends the McDougals, remember their friends the Thomasons, all friends and business associates, not charity associates, but friends and business associations, such honorable friends and business associates that some of them they pardoned after being convicted of very serious felonies. And HRC wants to go after Obama for an associate he was a board member with on a CHARITY, not a business associate. What has me in the doldrums is the DNC seems to support Obama and it's reasoning rings of pure politics. Almost a "hey guys we don't want a woman and if we can get Obama elected it will be an in your face kind of thing to the Neocons". I think this is very dangerous. People can say all they want about Bill Clinton. The fact of the matter is she, Hillary, is not he. As far as his 8 years go, I'd take them any day over the current bums in the White Out House.
