First, the author of this letter will most certainly and justifiably see the inside of a mental institution (or at least a half-way house) before Bush or Cheney sees the inside of a prison. Second, can someone answer me why all democrats are such milquetoast sissies? It's not only that my four year old can break a hundred in bowling (Barack scoring 34 is almost impossible). It's that, well, McCain flew jets and fought in the war. W rides horses, runs four miles nearly everyday, and has a resting heartrate of 44---world class athletically. Bush Sr. still jumps out of airplanes, flew fighters in WWII and played first base for Yale in the college World Series. Reagan rode horses. Then there's democrats. Hillary is a pasty pig. Barack is a skinny wimp who can't control a 12-pound bowling ball. They're all lawyers and PC conformists who want laws that enforce etiquette and insist that you say nice things. I have no doubt that the future (at least until American ceases to exist--I say about 50 years) I have no doubt that the future belongs to democrats. No doubt at all. But do we all have to be feminized so quickly? In the end, they'll ask "What happened to the rugged American ideal?" Libs will say, "The Patriot act killed my baby!" But those who know will say we turned soft and wanted to play nice at the precise moment in history when the rest of the world, led by the Muslim menace, wanted to destory all things western. Oh yeah, we'll lose this thing. But it didn't have to happen so fast.

as with most angry screeds, there's a bit of truth buried under the mountain of anger and over-simplification. But your evidence leaves a little to be desired ... I mean, I've seen professional bowlers before, and very few of them would be considered world-class athletes. Most of them aren't even "fit" by normal standards. And Barack O is, at the very least, one of the better basketball players in Congress, and I have no doubt he could out-run any of the Republicans you name (Bush Sr, W, and McCain).

As for the buried truth of your rant - yes, it is true that most women secretly find the rugged, un-PC masculinity (more often found in conservatives) more attractive than the timid, intellectual, "nice guys" (more often found in liberals). You see it a lot in DC - nerdy, "nice guy" types who pride themselves on being sensitive, wondering why they can't find a girl. But, of course, there are some nerdy, PC types who are Republicans and even a few rugged, masculine types who are Democrats.

The bigger issue is, what are you doing about it? If we're in such danger of "losing" to the (ahem) "Muslin Menace," are you going to stop it? Are you going to take any action, like a real man? You seem like you're resigned to your fate. That seems a little wimpy in its own right.

I'm thinkin' Former Secretary of the Navy Jim Webb could kick the most of RNC's ass w/ one hand tied behind his back. Shoot, Barney FRANK could kick George Bush's candy ass if there were no Secret Service guys around to have his back.
