I think the real issue here is one of privilege. One of old school elitism. The Clinton's are old school politicians, they assume that they are much more clever and much more intelligent than the average voter.
They're also not used to the You-Tube/blogosphere generation of fact checking. So they say what's convenient at the time and assume that people will forget or just forgive them for "misspeaking".
But for those of you too young to remeber, President Bill Clinton was impeached (you know like Nixon) for lying under oath. His defense consisted of trying to twist the meaning of the word "is". And the biggest problem is not the Monica Lewinsky/blue dress issue of Bill's infidelity. The bigger problems were white water. rose law firm, tailhook, donations from the Chinese Gov't to Bills campaign for re-election, travelgate.
Hillary Clinton is desperately trying to get the backing of Unions, but she worked on the board of WAL-MART. She claims she hates free trade despite the fact that her husband (you know the other half of the twofer) passed NAFTA the biggest free trade agreement so far, and Bill's actively working on the new Columbia Free Trade agreement.
Do they think we can't read? Don't watch the news? Can't understand how what they're doing is dishonest? Can't see that they're willing to hand the real election to a Republican rather than lose the primary? So if they can't represent the working man, they'd rather nobody did?
How can the blue collar working class (btw- I'm one of them -go union!) swallow this load of codswallop, and still think that they are on our side?
