Now we have a reason to stop shopping China. Most americans think they are getting away with something when they buys cheap crap from China or anywhere else. First, everyone knows it is cheap, it looks cheap, it doesnt last, it is probably made from lead or other toxic materials and we have put all american businesses out of business, for greed. Does anyone really need another $3 t shirt or $30 dvd player? No, our homes are full of crap, our garages are full and most have storage units full of crap. I think we need to wake up and get rid of the crap, stop buying the crap, stop shopping for entertainment, consuming for lack of better things to do, keeping up with the jones, trying to look rich when your not. There is not much to be happy about and we have been brainwashed by the media to buy, buy, buy, it is time to turn off the tv unless you are watching a show, then mute the commericals, or tivo and fast forward through them and get off of our butts, start talking to our neighbors, start walking to the park, walking anywhere, having social gatherings, making friends, making a difference in our country. Things need to change, we as a country are broke, our government is ripping us off, and the way we are going we are headed for the ditch. We must do something, what is it that we are leaving for our children?

If we all do something positive each day, just one thing we will change the way things are done, we can take back our country! The good shall overcome evil, but we have to do something.....

Excellently worded! We need to stop buying just to buy and we need an economy that relies on something other than us 'buying' goods (most of which are imported from China or the like). Maybe we Americans will wake up and realize that we are not too good to work and factories and produce goods for our own country. I think part of the problem is that young people have been raised to expect to make millions the day they graduate from college, sitting behind a desk in some sort of service or 'business' area... we need to make things, we need to work our way up the latter... the good old days

Yeah....let's go back to the good old 50's when life was simpler and the things we made were quality and products we actually needed and used. In that era, I don't think there was anything made in China...maybe Japan. And if you so happen to have any electronics made in Japan, then that is quality...compared to what is produced in China, Indonesia or Mexico now. So right to say that our garages and homes are filled with crap we don't need. I for one have a policy...if I haven't used it in a year, it goes. If I need it, I'll either borrow or rent it. It's just that simple.
