cheap Chinese
by houligan
In the future, buying Chinese should only refer to getting something to eat. I am so absolutely sick of seeing 'made in China' on 2/3 of the items I am looking to purchase. And now I hear that should the U.S. boycott the Olympics or take other action that displeases China, they can make life economically tuff as they have purchased billions if not trillions of dollars in U.S. T-bills and can hold us economic hostages. Someone please direct me to a grass roots movement to boycott the purchasing of Chinese made goods. Euff is enuff.

I'm not sure whether there is any organized 'grass roots movement' to boycott Chinese imports but welcome to the club! Many of us have been boycotting imports to the point of boycotting shopping in general. Tired of being over-used as a 'consumer' when they aren't wanting to hire Americans to do the production work! They don't ask us if we would like those jobs... They'd just export the jobs or hire Mexicans instead. I don't waste what money I manage to earn on imported junk! Pay 'production rate' and Americans will do those jobs! (production rate pay is a certain low 'base rate' & the more you produce over their 'base production' the more you'll earn)

:o)
