China products poisoned our pets and children.

I for one wish we didn't import ANYTHING from China. I try NOT to buy products made in China.

The least the USA could do is manufacture toys here so our children could play with them without fear of poisoning.

I won't buy anything that is going to be eaten or anything I want to still be using next year that's imported from China. They're OK for disposables that aren't intended to be eaten. The dogs eat dry feed from the feed mill supplemented by table scraps. They're at least as healthy as dogs eating canned dogfood & puts an end to worries about ingredients in the gravy poisioning them. There isn't really anything I need that has to be imported from China. Just because importers can't resist importing it doesn't mean I can't resist buying it!

Our economy is so bad right now that I think we need to start taking care of America. We have standards that have to be met before we export items while the things that are imported are substandard crap. I think we need to sell more of what we make right here at home. Keep our money in our own pockets for a change. As for the pet food, after the scare I started making her food. It's a "meat loaf". Black Angus ground meat, rice, one egg, breadcrumbs and chopped carrots. Cut into slices and freeze. Now if the ground meat doesn't come from a mad cow and the egg doesn't have some funkey disease....
