I've got no problem with people making money in America and I'm glad Bill was able to retire his Monica/Impeachment $12M debt. But, when you see that MILLIONS were earned by Bill from a three-man partnership with the ruler of Dubai at the same time that Hillary's speaking in the Senate against Dubai Ports World's being awarded American security contracts, it makes you wonder. Are the same things being said publicly and privately? How does she decide what's in the national interest as distinguished from her personal financial interest? Are they in conflict (because maybe they're not--I don't know enough about Dubai to say. Britain does a lot of security in our ports, for example, so it's not like it's all domestic.)

They should say more about that deal. Wouldn't want the next Vice President doing favours for former business parteners. Wouldn't that just be a huge scandal?

I think that this raises a really valid point that people need to think about. Everyone keeps going on about how the Clinton years were really great, Ok, I'm there, they were pretty good economically.

But Hillary Clinton is always saying that she had nothing to do with any of that nasty legislation stuff like NAFTA, but he was it's biggest supporter. She says no about the Dubai thing, but he says yes.

So either they disagree on a lot of policy and the Clinton years part II won't be anything like Bill's years in office, or she's lying. I mean, she can't disagree with his policies and bask in the reflected glory of them at the same time.

The Clintons left the White House in debt. They had a NEGATIVE net worth! The fact that they have prudently made a large amount of money late in life does not preclude them to fighting for the working poor. You don't have to have cancer to be a doctor who treats it do you? None of the Presidential candidates are poor so really what is your point?
