E.J./Chad/Slate, If you had researched Ron Paul 2008 (perhaps on his quite available site) properly, you would have found that he has not been "off the trail". You have suggested that he "slunk away", and by doing so lost to John McCain, and possibly could disappear for another month & half. All the above is only true if your research of Ron Paul has been from mainstream media. They have never given him his due as a repected presidential candidate. Like you, Slate, they word their questions and make statements toward Paul in a demeaning and twisted way. By do so and not giving worth to Pauls ideas, you have thereby censored people that perhaps should be able to hear something different with meaningful information for our country. I believe this biased treatment has been very unfair and narrow minded. Once again I am very alarmed and disappointed by todays "free press". At the very least, be responsible, do a through job, and then let US make fully informed decisions for ourselves thank you.
