Bill Clinton's Self-Destruction: A Bi-Polar Roolercoaster.

Richardson is accused of promising "five times" not to endorse Hillary Clinton by a red-faced, finger pointing ex-President. Isn't this the fifth or tenth time this calendar year that he has come undone in public. Isn't this spectacle at least as embarassing as Howard Dean's scream or the "Macaca" moment?

This story isn't about Richardson, it is about Bill Clinton.

It is historically breathtaking that he went from political superstar in 1992, to shamed/tragic figure in 1998, to revived international leader for seven years, and now back to a national embarassment. This is like a bi-polar roller coaster, and I'm sure when this is over, he'll amaze us with another "comeback kid" episode. But what strange characters we put in power!

It is also interesting that Hillary Clinton built her campaign around the experience she derived through her marriage to Bill Clinton, and he has now come to symbolize all that has gone wrong with her campaign.

Hey Adkisson, you are repeating this post on purpose, and it is still as silly as the one you wrote before about the same topic.

Seems apt to me, Steve. Maybe what's silly is that Bill keeps letting himself make news this way.

Hi Mr. Austin;

I write often about the topic of the Bill Clinton. I supported him twice and was demoralized when I realized that Bill Clinton was without even a modicum of self-control or integrity even when he was charged with the most awesome powers on earth. Imagine opening yourself up to potential blackmail when the well being of the entire world is on your shoulders.

I never concerned myself with his sex life -- but was more than critical about his unfitness as reflected by his sexual behavior and his perfury. Add to that his shocking negligence with respect to Rwanda and other gendocidal hotspots during his administration, and I do not want him back in the White House. I would be much more favorably disposed toward Hillary Clinton if it were not for inseparability from Bll Clinton.

Hardly a "silly" issue -- not that such thin commentary deserves a response.

On the other hand, if I have posted the same item twice, I apologize. I have sometimes tried to post something and it does not show up after an interval and I post it again to be sure it is somehwere in the blog.

Finally, I wish people would write comments with a bit more civility and analytical content. I am sure you are capable of doing so -- it just takes a few minutes of thought.

It's an excellent point, and worth two postings!

My theory is that Bill subconsciously doesn't want Hillary to run (or consciously, judging by some of his bigger gaffs).
