Vote for the Candidates, not their spouses
by asadastra

While Hillary's history as a first lady is important in determining SOME of her political experience, it does not mean that her husband is running for President with her. His statements do not and should not impact a voter's decision. Her statements about policy are what's relevant. And CH is always a difficult pill to swallow, especially when the facts he's trying to portray are being clouded by his obvious anger at the subject. Try being objective, and maybe I, as a reader, will want to listen to your opinions.

My opinion, and the opinion of almost 2/3 of the country as of a CNN poll yesterday, is that Hillary is being portrayed unfavorably in the media considerably more than any other presidential candidate, and it is being done so without merit. Part of that is because of who her husband is - which is impossible to ignore but totally irrelevant to her campaign.

Victim, victim, victim,victim, victim,victim

"Hillary is being portrayed unfavorably in the media considerably more than any other presidential candidate, and it is being done so without merit."

In this instance she is not being portrayed unfavorably, but rather, factually being shown to have been caught in a lie. The basis of the article was her lying, which at this point is beyond dispute. There is certainly plenty of merit to say that she is a liar.

Poor baby! She should be able to lie and get away with it! Why are people picking on her? It is so unfair.

Who Hillary CLINTON's husband is could not be more relevant to her campaign: were she not married to Bill, would she even be in the running?

As the saying goes "Birds of a feahter flock together". So goes Bill and Hillary.

You think she's going to get a blow job from a white house intern?

----Bill Clinton remains an issue in this election, because he continues doing shady money deals.

----As the NYTime article of 1/31/08 “After Mining Deal, Financier Donated to Clinton” shows, Bill visited Kazakhstan and, against the wishes of our state department, praised its dictator and flattered its bureaucrats in charge of mining rights. This was done to get uranium contracts worth billions of dollars for a shady Canadian businessman, Frank Giustra. Giustra has returned the favor by given $131 million dollars to foundations controlled by Bill, a private money pot for Bill, from which he can pay himself huge salaries and finance lavish offices, staff, travel, entertainment, and parties.

-----So as long as Hillary continues to let Bill commit such financial sleaze – Bill is a proper issue.

-----Furthermore, if Obama is being smeared for the mere words of his pastor, it is totally fair to attack Hillary for not only the words, but the serious crimes, of someone much closer to her, her husband, particularly since she took part in many of those crimes.
