What a shame
by west

China doesn't care about Tibet. China only care about what they can take from Tibet. China is destroying Tibetan culture, religion, tradition, language, land, and much more.

It is no secret that Dalai Lama DID NOT mastermind the demonstration on March 10th. The world knows Dalai Lama's messages, teachings or his photos are NOT allow in Tibet. Shame on China for lying. China should stop polluting their people and the world with their lies.

artemshap, I can't tell from your context if you're being cleverly satirical or are just abysmally and viciously ignorant. can you enlighten me?

Allow me to change a few nouns and see what's the result:

"The U.S. doesn't care about Iraq. The U.S. only care about what they can take from Iraq. The U.S. is destroying Iraq culture, religion, tradition, language, land, and much more."

It is always recommendable to clean one's own house instead of telling others to clean theirs. As for the Dalai Lama, he is a warmonger hypocryte. Everybody knows that those violent monks wouldn't move a finger without his consent. Isn't he a living deity to them? There's no doubt they caused all this violence with his tacit approval.

By the way, who bought the Dalai Lama those designer glasses?

Of course you are correct, President Bush does not care about Iraq and the vast majority of the people in the US have made it a point to tell him so. Have you ever given considered protesting your government's actions? I doubt that you would, or would even try, as you would not be on the internet today. We can protest our governrnent action's and we can even replace the head man in Washington through an election process. Not sure what we have taken from Iraq yet that is worth the $1 trillion we will spend in Iraq. As a supplier of oil to the US, Iraq does not even make it into the top 5 suppliers to the US. So what exactly did the US take?

"The Dali Lama is a war mongering hypocrite?"

Seems China is so afraid of the hypocrite "the Dali Lama", that China took additional steps and measures to stifle any talk of human rights violations in Tibet whether it be Chinese or Tibetan violations at the March 26, 2008 Geneva UN conference. Groups such as Amnesty International were confounded by China's repeated efforts to prevent them from discussing Tibet and human rights violations there. You know Amnesty International don't you? That group that reports on the US's violations and also world executions. If the Dali Lama is such a war mongering hypocrite, then why be afraid to allow the issue to come up at the UN?

Anyhoo, does this mean the rest of your friends will now show up to harass and chastise me? :)

Right after the invasion of Iraq, which showed that the U.S. had no regard for world opinion nor international law, there were a lot of demonstrations against the war; then, came the presidential elections, and guess who won...again? This tells you something about this so-called "democracy": corporations are the true rulers of this nation. Now, if the U.S. hasn't recouped the $1 Trillion it has invested was due more to a grotesque miscalculation than for a distaste of the exquisite art of looting other people's property.

Now, the U.S. has no moral ground to tell other nations who they should or shouldn't talk to, hasn't the U.S. refused to have a dialogue with the presidents of Iran, Venezuela, and other so-called rogue nations? Why did the U.S. refused to be a signatory to the World Court and the Kyoto Protocol? Why hasn't the U.S. allowed Amnesty International to interview the prisoners in Guantanamo?

Why hasn't China allowed Amnesty International to speak at the UN Conference on March 26, 2008 if China ia so much in the right here.

While corporations entities are legal entities, they can not vote. Speaking of which, beyond the villages . . . has China ever had a fair and free election? Or does the democratic dictatorship block those?

While the Bush Administration does not allow Amnesty International on Gitmo, they do allow the prisoners attorneys on the island and at the prison. And we do not block Amnesty International at the UN from protesting the blockage of their visits as China does any conversations about Tibet. Of the 724 officially recorded executions in China hoew many had attorneys, of the ~10,000/year unrecorded (Amnesty International) executions in China, how many had attorneys? Has Amnesty International been allowed access to all of China's prisoners the same as it is allowed in the US, outside of Gitmo?

The US will never recoup the $1 trillion wasted on an invasion of the sovereign nation Iraq. It was a waste of money as led by one man and he will go down in history as being the worst president ever. There was nothing to recoup in Iraq even if the US wanted to do so. The country was pretty much a shambles from UN sanctions. Now, try criticizing your present dictator and country's policies that way and see how long you continue posting. Here is a test for you:

US President Bush is a warmonger! He attacks Iraquis.

China's President Hu Jintao is a warmonger. He attacks Tibetans.

Come on you can do it. If China is so free, you should be able to criticize your leaders the same way I criticize mine. Even if it is false!

Tell me what "moral" means to you? Would that be the same as Thomas Aquinas's version of moral and morality? Explain moral and morality to me and how China defines morality?

Kyoto is easy for China to sign as it has nothing to do for it other than flood more rivers such as the Songhua River with Benzene. Have you ever smelled the air in Tinajin or Beijing in Winter? Can you run a few miles per day in such air? Tell me about China and pollution. I have been there far to frequently and talked to the Chinese people. They are a kind and proud people and I admire their strength to live under such adversity from their government.

You sir are nothing but a government hack. You are welcome to keep trying; but, I am a tad different than Nick. Are you going to bring Olympic Dreams to Dafur? Or will China keep sponsoring Sudan's terror for oil?
