Where did you get this information that Tibetans were treated like animals? if you've been to Tibet you would never believe what you just said.
I guess the media told you this story, and then you believe the whole thing w/ out using your brain.
A vivid example was CNN interviewing Richard Gere. They were talking about 'china treating tibetan so badly', at the same time, CNN broadcasting shocking images that tibetans were attacked and abused by police. Regrettably CNN didn't tell you that those images were not taken in Tibet, and those police are not Chinese police, not even close. They were in India. Many of those so called 'crackdown' evidence were actually pictures taken in India or Nepal while local police handling exile Tibetan’s 'peacefully protesting'. Ironically, the images of Indian/Nepal police have been widely used in many media to show how cruel the china police is. But they rarely let you know that the real role players were actually Indian or Nepal police. Funny, hugh?
how come talking about human right crisis in China, yet using Indian/Nepal police as footage? As if they thought that India is part of China.
They simply don’t have any such kind of images from China, so they used Indian police’s behavior to misguide audiences. Wouldn’t believe that CNN made such an obvious mistake?
Well, if you couldn’t tell the obvious difference by appearance between Indian and Chinese, check out yahoo news. When covering same event, at least y! Photos gave some description on where it happened. Compared them w/ TV images, then use your brain to guess who has been brain washed?
You can say the same murdering thing to US too – Native American Indian hundreds years ago, or Vietnam decades ago, or Iraq right now, but that's not relevant to this case.
So far, except those pictures taken on India or Nepal police, I couldn't find a single picture that shows the Chinese police attacking Tibetan, although I don't believe there was none. If rioters burning your house or knifing you on the street, I would be very surprised to see US police NOT attacking them.
As for Olympic, for whatever reasons, those who want to punish china government by using boycotting Olympics, they are actually humiliating and irritating 1.3 billion people on this planet who truly believe Olympic can turn on the lights and are ardently anticipating a great game holding in their homeland.
