Clinton Adviser: She Has 10% Chance vs. Obama
by ChecksnBalances

There is an interesting article at the usually Pro-Clinton Politico.com echoing Trailhead's findings.

Looking at the InTrade's and stuff, I suspect the current thinking/wagering is that she has somewhere between 15% - 22% probability of winning the Nomination right now. She is definitely not mathematically eliminated though by any stretch of the imagination !

Wait, wasn't "not mathematically eliminated by any stretch of the imagination" Huckabee's slogan a few weeks back?

Thanks, but this article, and the delegate calculators, won't convince those die-hard Clinton supporters. Well, they always said girls were bad in math (I get to say that without being called a sexist). :-)

Yes, I think Huckabee even did a SNL skit where he wouldn't leave !

Hey, that's right. SNL again! Good god, it seems like they're everywhere this season! Maybe Lorne Michaels has a thing for keeping failing campaigns on life-support?

That's good. Fine, lovely. I firmly support Obama. But what chance has he got to beat McCain?

If he does indeed have the nomination sewed up, that's the issue. Dems should be looking at that, focusing on that. And it's looking suddenly wobbly.

I think Mccain is going to take this one. Too much distraction and dirt in the Dem corner. And THAT is awful to contemplate.

Oh there is still seven long months yet to go before the General Election to go "beat up" on the sorry Republicans !

SandyB,

Actually you don't get to say that without being sexist. And I can be as equally sexist when I say, you are obviously sexist and stupid, and obviously a girl, so I hope you feel good about your sexist, stupid self.

God, girls really *are* dumb. I'm ashamed to be female at this moment.

And apparently the Democratic party is *insanely* retarded and ineffectual. The last effective Democrat is the one all the moron lemmings are turning against. BRILLIANCE.

Maybe the Republicans aren't really stupid. Bush might be dumb, but I really do think they're evil geniuses. And I would rather be on board with the evil genius than the drooling idiot any day.

Perhaps that is why so many Dems are switching sides.

Who is turning against Bill Clinton? Is he running for president, or his wife? Is it considered turning against Bill Clinton to not be a "moron lemming" and vote for the "name-recognition" candidate? Sure, Bill Clinton was a better president than GW Bush, but I think we can still do better.

Obama '08!

Re: Clinton Adviser: She Has 10% Chance vs. Obama

gary, Please. You know exactly what I'm talking about, so do not play dumb. Your first sentence disassociated Clinton from Bill, but then you lumped them together again.

And yeah, we can do better than Bill Clinton and we can definitely do better than Bush, and the person for the job happens to be named Clinton (or maybe she should just run as Hillary Rodham because that is her maiden name). The name-recognition argument is ridiculous–someone shoud have told FDR that he wasn't eligible for office because Teddy Roosevelt already held office, or that Bobby Kennedy should never have ran for the Democratic nomination.

Mercadia: It doesn't take much to make you ashamed of being female does it? Geez...get over it, your candidate lost! Or DO you have a problem with the math!
Re: Clinton Adviser: She Has 10% Chance vs. Obama
by mercadia

Except my candidate DIDN'T lose. And Obama is more likely to lose the general election than Clinton (look at the polls!).

Girls are obviously too stupid to understand political process or to understand how to do research...or use Google. And they're too stupid to bother thinking about the economy or anything practical, obviously.

You have a brilliant candidate with a great platform staring at you in the face, and you're so guided by your idiocy that you turn away because you're guided by your "hearts" and not your minds. How typical.

What a bunch of morons.

Perhaps only a moron would continue to tout the brilliance of a person who has run one of the worst campaigns in recent history. I doubt your illogical touting of HRC's brilliance has anything to do with your gender--just the fact that you yourself are in denial. Brilliant people who are fit to run the country on day one run brilliant or at least successful campaigns.
