As anyone who's been caught up in ordinary workplace job losses knows, successful work teams are not created in the abstract from resumes and references. Ultimately the overriding factor is whether the teammates are a "good fit" for each other, whether that is assessed from Myers-Briggs type tests or from plain old chemistry or learned the hard way. Clearly Obama and Clinton are radically different types with equally different values. It is impossible to imagine them (and their staffs) learning to trust each other at this point, nor should they. This nightmare ticket would be McCain's dream come true.
