If you need to be led by 'religious leaders', you are dumb..

and did not 'listen' to your high school science teachers who described what a 'fact' is as separate from 'faith'. If you live in a world of facts, you don't dick around with bible-bablers who also want to pass as 'social commentators'. Remember that Muslim 'terrorists' are all lead by their religious leaders to blow up fellow Muslims by a faith justification that is not clear to a normal person. I also consider 'peaceniks' to be as dumb a religious 'faith' types since they have trouble with fact and want you to 'believe' that all wars are bad.

For some off reason you have missed the "Spirit of the Living God".

Who raised you and kept you in darkness? Shame on them.

I find science fascinating. Physics was my favorite class in college.

As a Christian, Jesus is my Spiritual leader. Pastors can be helpful, but should never be followed blindly. That is true of any political leader, private club leader, or military leader.

WHY ?
by belezabub

you do not establish why science alone is a sufficient method for living.

your link between islam terrorists and faith justification is a particular link to the general.

denigration of a group adds nothing to your arguement.

Philosophy ('Love of Wisdom') more factual guide than Jim

Jones 'preachers' who make up shit as they go along being able to use 'God' as the excuse when they screw up the logic. Facts are precious and few, with 'faith' you can believe anything including that Obama did not know what his 'preacher' was talking about for twenty years. Preachers are the enemies of a true God, and they screw up your ability to differentiate between your God-given right to 'know a fact', like a 'fossil' which indicates the bible-babble is all wrong about evolution.
Lemmings that follow a 'leaders' over a cliff are dumb....

as being led to suicide is nothing but a definition of a 'dumb group'. Would you consider NAZI's of WWII to be 'smart' Germans who were led into a dumb ideology of stupid racist jingoism and then (many) behaved in dumb ways afterwards?

Poor little watchout, he wants to put some smear on Obama over words expressed by his preacher. John McCain actually went out and begged for support from wingnut hate monger preachers, but watchout doesn't want McCain to be responsible for their words.

His double standard is a bit hypocritical. It's lame and it requires people to be as biased and/or stupid as him to work.

So here's the deal. If you think Obama's preacher is somebody you don't like, just don't vote for the preacher when he runs for president. Meanwhile, McCain is just as responsible for the messages of hate expressed by his preachers.

When facts differ from what you believe, it is time to reasses what you believe and why you believe it. When I first became a Christian at age 20, I believed in the young earth theory. As I grew in my Faith and read the Bible for myself, I changed my belief. If you read the Genesis account of creation, you find the sun being created on the fourth "day".

Obviously God's sundial did not function properly before then. I tend to believe we are living in the seventh "day" of Creation.

Let's take for granted that everybody but you might be that dumb and did not 'listen' to high school science teachers who described what a 'fact' is as separate from 'faith'. Don't you think that you are having "faith" in that "fact" that your high school teacher kept describing?

1/ And what if your perception of life was wrong?

2/ And what if simply you and your alike were wrong?

3/ And what if God, Heaven and Hell really existed?

Wouldn't you regret your stubbornness?

Cool man!

Whatever, it is still a belief not a fact.

Just because some facts can not be proved, that does not mean they are not facts.

Could you post some links to McCain's preachers hate speaches? I haven't seen any. Were they made by preacher's from his own church? Were they his spiritual leaders?
Jim Jones 'best' religious leader. Killed his congregation

by 'testing' their 'faith' with Kool Aid and cyanide. Koresch was next with 'light my fire....'. Wright gonna 'test' his congregation as his leadership also. Sounded like a Klu Klux Klan preacher at a rally in that video. But, I do recommend the 'Jim Jones Solution' for those that really 'love' their 'religious' leaders. It will thing out the crowds at Denny's on Sunday for breakfast.

Religious knowledge does not improve like the 'helio centric' theory and many other ideas ('witches') etc. fostered on the believers and their children. God must be playing a trich here.
A=A, A not equal to B, are the basic 'faith' assumptions of

mathematics and science which uses the language of math to describe cause and effects and other relationships discovered by science. But, to simply your 'problem' do as I do. Take a bunch of people to a Walmart Parking Lot, and ask them to spread out and find a 'flat tire' in the lot within 5 minutes. Explain a 'flat tire' as 'when the rim is real close to the pavemnt' or 'all the air is going out or gone out from the tire'. If they come back and report that there 'are no flat tires' in the lot, explain that that is a 'fact' because it is an 'observation' and not an opinion. If they all report 'one flat tire', explain that that is a fact also. If some one report two flat tires, then all will follow the person reporting 'two' flat tires and 'confirm' the fact and then agree 100% if that is true. Finding flat tires in not an 'act of faith' nor opinion. It does not matter whether God 'exists', just our ability to determine facts (God given?) like 'flat tires' or 'no flat tires'. Try this with your friends. The religious ones might not be your friends afterwards; they don't like how 'facts' make them feel.
