Hilary, be honest?
by Neve

I completely think this article is spot on. I have felt this way about Hilary since the interview she gave with the reference to Tammy Wynette and Stand by Your Man and I was just a teenage then. She stood by her man for purely political reasons. If she had never had interest in running for office of her own, she would have left.

She, in my opinion, playss on the suffering of women in her age group, for votes. And I don't think she will ever have it in her to speak candidly about anything, let alone, her gender.

ummm of course the difference being that it was Hilary's husband that did this not Hilary and her husband (as in the case of Tammy Faye)...h*ll screw the fact that her husband cheated on her why are women still marrying. It totally mystifies me.

part of what a gendist is btw is someone who places an unnecessary burden on someone because of the definition of that person's gender (ie: a woman being held responsible for her husband's failure is a gendist ideology)

Hillary has built her entire career on lies and deception; if she was to be honest the whole house of cards will fall apart. No one can demean Hillary but more than she herself or her husband. She lost her own self respect when she stayed with him for over two decades knowing he was screwing every woman he could. She not only stood by him but demonized the women he was screwing. She stood by him when he lied to the whole nation, and then went on to perjure himself. Now she has the audacity to ask why Obama did not leave his church. Perhaps she could ask her supporters as to why they stayed with the Catholic Church after millions of dollars have been paid for Priest molesting children? As to her being a champion of women, it is baloney. Remember how she demonized the women her husband had sexually abused and used. Remember Monica, her husband had used and then demonized, who was only few years older than her own daughter then. In this election she is tearing up the Democrats, playing race card, then gender card for herself, then fear card and now patriotism card, night is still young what more is to come yet.

I'm an Obama supporter and have serious problems with Hillary, I agree she's not always candid, but isn't her marriage her own personal business? What does it matter why she stayed with Bill? I just don't see how she overtly plays on anyone's suffering.

Absolutely spot on, and the FACT that her

Yes, Hillary has chosen to forgive her husband. To keep hammering her with it is essentially an attempt to use an old division in her marriage as a lever against her candidacy. Obama himself is against such things, which is why you don't see him doing it. We - his supporters - should follow his lead. Even McCain is running a clean campaign in that regard. Being divisive to win is to close one's eyes to the bigger picture.

I dont' mean to bring her down; she does quite enough of that herself with her behavior. I was saying that this is yet another reason why I have chosen to support Obama over her. She is quick to point the finger at everyone else, but somehow doesn't seem to own her own mistakes and shortcomings. I don't like those qualities in my friends or my leaders.
Hellooooo?! She gave a
