Oh, sure, maybe it is the fact that my first girlfriend ever went to Notre Dame. Of course, it's quite possible, that I never really liked being dumped by e-mail (in 1996). It's possible that I never really liked the pompous attitude that generally oozes from the school, as if everything for them should be handed on a silver platter.

Yes, I did give chances to two other Irish alumnae, one was a beautiful, curly-haired redhead. As Pepe LePew said, "Le sigh." But nothing. Nothing at all - cementing my hatred for all things Fighting Irish from Indiana.

As a Trojan, I can say that there is only one school I hate more than Notre Dame (Auburn, which gets the top spot because I have good reasons for hating it). Still, that hatred is pretty much entirely spent on football. Get past that, and they're a school I hardly notice.

Hating Notre Dame basketball is like hating Duke football. Even when they're good, what's the point?

Thats a surprise coming from a Trojan. You could say the same about USC basketball and UCLA football, too. That being said, as I Bruin and even with the Lil' Romeo thing, I agree. Nobody cares about ND basketball.
