You can say that. It would be silly, a bit hyperbolic, and I wouldn't be quite sure what you meant. But you can say it anyway.

I find it extraordinary to imagine that you (and your fellows) can heap scorn and derision upon anyone from Michelle Obama, to Nancy Pelosi, to Barney Frank, to Chris Dodd, to Joe Biden fully aware that it is these people's choice to make themselves public figures and thus part of their lives will result in being subjected to whatever whims and fancies anyone would like to say about them, their public personae, their viewpoints and their actions... but a person clearly sets out that they simply cannot stand Sarah Palin and it is "Palin Derangement Syndrome" and I'm jealous of her and it shows you how despicable my soul is.

Can I just say that your responses on this thread have been the most revealing of anyone's, and not in a good way. Except that it confirmed definitively at least one of the three legs of my theory to explain this bizarre and ugly phenomenon of Palin Derangement Syndrome.

I understand your feelings. Yes it was a terrible thing for him to say, but I don't think he really meant it. In my response to his post I wished the same thing on Barack Obama. I didn't mean that either, but for your sake....I apologize for saying it.
