I see a clear sign of a loser here. You just have to believe people are hard on Palin because of her looks but otherwise you would have to focus on her substance and substance is where Palin clearly is lacking.

Funny that you mention her education. You do know that it is very, very limited. Same with her job experience. You mention skinning a moose. That appears to be about all you have when it comes to the great things Palin is able to do.

Really, I don't hate Palin since there isn't anything to hate. i.e. she hasn't done much of anything to even be discussed. The fact that so many in the GOP feel she should lead them, shows how down the GOP is.

Obama wasn't ready but, well, he was a solid politician so he won and we just have to see if he can learn on the job. Palin clearly has a lot less to offer than Obama had. People are NOT hard on Palin because of her looks (ha ha ha ha), but because of her lack of a track record.

First off Palin isn't a gorgeous women by any measure. OK, as a politician she looks better than most BUT compare Palin to any model and Palin doesn't come close. Of course none of that matter but I did find it funny that you make such a bogus statement. Gorgeous my ass!

Anyhow, most on the left don't hate Palin, we are just laughing at her. She is really just a nobody. Really she hasn't done much in her life and we don't expect her to do much in the future. But for some reason the media likes to put the spotlight on her.

But Palin did the right thing by quitting. She will make a lot of money and have a lot more free time to do what she wants to do. But only a complete fool would say that Palin has what it takes for national office.

Women are only allowed to be happy and empowered if they are liberal on social issues, did you not know that? If a women presents herself as either without being a liberal, then surely they are mere representatives of the bigoted traditionalists of the past and thus deserving of our scorn?

It's all politically based, of course. Well, mostly. First, Governor Palin is a gorgeous woman and that elicits blind jealousy in many women. Then give those women a bully pulpit and . . . well, then just watch out! But it's very definitely also political in nature, this hate-filled automatic liberal reaction where Sarah Palin is concerned. Anyone recall how immediately all these XX-Factor women turned on Hillary Clinton the instant that the nomination contest got down to just Hillary and Barack Obama? Prior to that these Slate writers were willing to concede that Hillary was a decent human being and probably would make a good president. The instant however they had a BETTER [in their minds] liberal alternative to Hillary then the woman instantly became that Bitch From Hell in their snotty and hate-filled little xx-Factor snippets.

Just like it finally proved with Hillary, this seething hatred that XX-Factor writers feel towards Sarah Palin is at least half petty political bias and the other half is gutter level jealousy.
