My post may have been a bit sarcastic sounding....blame it on my dry sense of humor, which in turn stems from dealing with all the sorry excuses for an editor we have dealt with, for the past few years.

Congratulations on your wedding, and it's a great institution as marriages go:-)

Thanks for the reply which is far more than I ever was able to weasel out of your predecessor in time of need!

Have a fun start and I apologize for the intrusion at such an important time in your life.

I will continue to be checking in on the boards and my emails, but I've only been able to do so sporadically for the last two days as I have been traveling. I am sorry about any delays in replying to emails, and apologize in advance for any future such delays over the next few days as well. For all of you concerned about MaryAnne's problem, I've told her that I've reset her password and she should be able to post just fine now. Continue to contact me if you have any problems and I will do my best to get back to you as quickly as possible.

Regards,
JTM

Is Ther An Editor In The House Anymore?

If so, does he answer e-mails?> Or make HOUSE CALLS?

Mary Anne, a poster on the Kausfiles Special for umpteen years, cannot access the Slate boards anymore. She got up yesterday, to find that she needed to 'SIGN IN' WITH her PASSWORD all over again. I encountered the same problem myself. Fortunately, a 'sign in' let me back in.

Her problem is that when she went through HER dance routine, she discovered that something is 'broken'....The program does not recognize her password...so she tried some 'antique passwords from years past, before the 'new modern look' format was put on the boards. Turns out those do not work either.

As of right now, the Slate is gagging, and spitting her out like she is SWINE FLU or something.

If Slate even HAS an editor anymore (It has needed one for all the years since Moira left) it's time he/she quit pulling the "I CAN'T HEAR You!" act, and did their job, which is to at least address the issue and to answer her e-mail requests asking for help.

That's what you (the editor) gets paid the big bucks for!

Can She PLEASE get some SERVICE?!
