Enough, Already...

Working in a library, it irks me how every year I get a new crop of young people who have either read or heard about this guy and are almost in tears trying to find the book. I think he has worn out his victimhood! As usual, his story is compelling but it is not complete. It wouldn't bother me so much except the guy is acting like he's a victim all the way to the bank. He feels he is responsible for his triumph, well, that's quite a kick in the gut to all the people who intervened on his behalf to remove him form the situation.

I don't begrudge anyone achieving in life but if he were so worried about the young people of America, why does he charge a boatload of money to speak at gatherings? He is more than well off, now. He can well afford to turn his words in to actions.

There is so many mistakes in this article!!!! I do not discredit doctors, neither do I discredit their education. But somethings goes much deeper than science may be able to explain. This is one of them. These two individuals were being led by an evil spirit. We know that there is a good and that there is an evil. This evilness was orchestrated by the devil himself. Moreover so, spirits do not die, people do.

Continue to read the news and listen to the media. This same style of killing has gone from place to place. You have heard of it in Virginia as well as other states and countries. The devil does not play fair. Once he has succeeded with his evilness, he uses someone else. Just like he did Judas "The Betrayer" of Jesus.

The devil is not playing in the small arena any longer. He knows that his time is just about out and he is escalating his game. The Bible tells us in John 10:10 that the devil comes to steal, kill and to destroy. Once he uses an individual, he later kills and destroys them.

So for the doctors, your medical terms are good to describe what can be excepted by the knowledge that you have acquired from your predecessors.

I have never been able to let this go and in 16 days the 10 year anniversary will be here. I was there that day as were my two children and we all handle it in different ways. A psychiatrist once told me that Columbine will be like a box that is filled with all the memories and the sounds of that day that you put in a box and place on the top shelf of your closet. Occasionally you take it down off the shelf, open it up and re-experience it only not nearly to the degree that you did that day. Well, the box has been taken down and once again I have the nightmares and the feeling of dread that so easily come back.

I know Dwayne Fuselier and I believe him when he talks about Klebold and Harris and certainly about the so-called Trench Coat Mafia, which was a fairly benign group of kids that just wanted to be different. Harris was a cold-blooded killer that did want to do "maximum damage". What I have so much trouble with is that my daughter was in the cafeteria, my son crossed paths with the killers and I was supposed to be in the teachers lounge having lunch...but I wasn't. I can't help but feel that if I had been I would have been shot because I would have rushed out into the cafeteria looking for her and her friends. She had come to my office that morning and asked me to take her and her friends out to lunch and when told I couldn't told me that she would instead go to the library to study with some friends, including Isiah, a philosophy test that they were going to take later that day. But, she wasn't in the library, Isiah was, she was in the cafeteria.

I find myself getting a headache just sitting here writing about it, I have not let it go and it's down off the shelf, probably until the anniversary is long over and I can put it back in the box.

I was in the school a couple days after the shooting and I have never seen anything like that in my life. The carpet had big holes in it where bombs had gone off and in some places there was blood. Every locker door was open as the FBI and police looked for more guns and bombs. Bullet holes were everywhere and as I tried to count them I barely got past the first set of lockers before I went numb with shock. This was my school, my kids had all gone to Columbine, the older one already graduated, and now it was covered in blood and bullet fragments and I hadn't even gotten to the library or the cafeteria. I continued on until I was right next to the library. I tried one of the staff doors and thank God it was locked but I also know I would have gone in there if it hadn't been. The cafeteria was completely destroyed and the bombs that had gone off had burned the ceiling, tables, kids backpacks and coats and the smell was overpoweringly awful. I looked, rooted in my spot at the stair landing, and tried to find my daughters new purse that she had dropped, her backpack and her books, but in all the chaos of the room, I couldn't. I found out that morning that she was sitting at a table in the center of the room with a mysterious large duffle bag placed on the floor right next to her. The kids she sat with wondered what was in it but then soon lost interest as they talked about other things. It was one of the bombs that had failed to go off...it was literally right next to her.

I am having nightmares again and if anyone wants to share their thoughts with me about Columbine I would love to hear it. What I don't want to hear is someone who wants to dig for more information from me just for the sake of hearing about it. A lot of kids died that day, kids I knew, kids I worked with and it changed me and my family forever.

The Sheriff’s computer file named, “walshbuttrape.txt” is thoroughly discussed, and it’s implications extend into the tragedy in Butte Montana where “Sheriff John Walsh” is the Sheriff in Butte and has a son named “Tim Walsh.” The same Tim Walsh who is the only law enforcement officer to ever arrest Eric and Dylan. That tragedy is directly related to the Sandra Cantu case because of the location in Tracy California a short distance from the Pullen house in Lodi, who authorities claimed died in the Butte, Montana crash. We conclude the obvious: Based on eye-witness Tom Hagler, who described the passengers as approx. a dozen very cute kids between the ages of 6 and 10 and 4 adults, that the children were sexual child slaves and the flight to Bozeman was part of a child trafficking network.

How did that small one-engine plane create a 10 foot deep crater in the hard frozen ground ? How come there are no pictures of this alleged crater, or ANY pictures of the crash scene at all?! How come Hillary Clinton is pictured with a family of the supposed dead, and how come only 2 of the alleged dead children match the description of the eye-witness? The Feldcamp family owns the largest private chain of abortion clinics in the United States and are members of the Yellowstone club which is in financial trouble. How did the plane, coincidentally, crash almost on top of a crave dedicated to the unknown aborted fetuses?

The 1994 Judi Chase Amber alert story ties a child trafficking ring known as the Fat Cats directly to the culture of the Jefferson County Government. The murder of David Chase and the investigator Phil Harris was a text book example of the Pedophile ring known as the “Fat Cats” who are collusion with high ranking Jefferson County officials dealing in child trafficking.

The Fat Cats connect the dots to the Jon Benet Ramsey tragedy. In the Ransom note:

Fourteen children died at Columbine on April 20, 1999. At least eight children who were associates of Eric and Dylan have died since, all by disturbing circumstances. Children will continue to die based on the spin of “hallway harassment”. The barometer of the angst that led to the violence at Columbine goes much higher. All the way to sodomy.

We, the families of the Columbine dead and injured, have repeatedly asked the highest officials of the land, including President Clinton, Gov. Owens, District Attorney Ritter, District Attorney Dave Thomas, Attorney General Salazar, Congressman Tancredo et al for full independent and thorough investigation of the Columbine tragedy and particularly the January arrest that provoked the killers.

We have proof of a meeting that took place days before the signing of the stimulus package that was called “Columbine Lessons learned 10 years after”. A news blackout was in effect about this meeting when President Obama planned his trip to Denver. Obama delayed the signing of the stimulus bill for 4 days. This 4 day delay, after Obama encouraged the immediate passage of the bill? He chose to sign the bill in Denver in order to mask his real reason for coming to Denver. COLUMBINE! The meeting itself, including Biden’s comment to Salazar “ You came in on the big plane, you’ll be leaving with me on the little one” [kicked off of Airforce One and kicked out of the inner circle] is a clear indication of the topic of conversation in the halls of the museum; COLUMBINE! There was a loud report that may have been gunfire during the 18 minute delay in the meeting after it had already begun and Salazar left the podium. As of this date, Obama refuses to address the topic of the Columbine tragedy. He is not a Civil Rights leader!

A video of Lieberman blinking an SOS to all of his cronies in a childish attention getting antic , just prior to the Columbine related trip to Denver, is proof of the depth of the corruption in the Columbine Cover up.

Writing a book...

I wanted to write a book for young adults, exposing this issue and the reasons behind it. It's purely a work of fiction, but has roots in both Harris and Klebold, as well as Kip Kinkel.

Those in my generation were very young when the Columbine Massacre occured. I myself was only eight.

It's good to know that there are legitimate sources ready for those of us who were too young to try to understand it at the time.

St Patrick was CHRISTIAN, not Roman Catholic!

Our wonderful St Patrick was neither of Roman Catholic nor Protestant bent. He was a CHRISTIAN at a time, in the generations just after St Constantine proclaimed Christianity to be the official religion of the Roman world. The "Roman" world at the time did not mean "Italian" Roman as in our modern context, but rather Byzantine (Greek) out of Contantinople, which was the center of the Roman Empire in the 300's AD. There were FIVE!!! "Churches" - Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch, Jerusalem, and Rome, all in complete agreement and communion with each other. The "Roman" Church (in Italy) began separating from the Universal Church in the time of Charlemagne in the 800's. The devastatingly sinful separation called the "Great Schism" occurred finally in 1054 when The Church of Rome separated from the Universal Church to create its own institution. The other Churches are still in communion and make up the ORTHODOX CHURCH, AKA "Eastern Orthodox" (including the national churches of Greece, Russia, Serbia, Romania, Georgia........ and many more today).

St. Partick is a CHRISTIAN Saint beloved and revered in the the Orthodox Church as well as in the part of Chistianity the became the modern "Roman Catholic Church." Protestants came much later in their separation from the Roman Catholic fold beginning in the late 1400's with Martin Luther. This was more the 1,000 years AFTER St. Patrick lived! In conclusion, St Partick is a saint for all of us Christians - Orthodox, Roman Catholic, or Protestant - and we would live much better if we followed his example of Divine Love.

Instead of writing a whole contradictive paraghraph,I felt like addressing several points in your post is just enough:

*if you want to estimate it's popularity, don't estimate it to it's previous part in the 90's, because with the tivos/dvrs/etc I don't think any T.V show can reach 30 million viewers nowadays. Look at American idol. It is the only show to crack the 20 million board in the top 10 ratings, while in the 90's most tv programmes in the top 10 list had 25+ million, Nielsen's estimates friends was in the top 5! (in the same date that you've mentioned) so 7 out 8 homes is downright illogical.

*I think it is critically acclaimed (it is hated of course, then again, these days most successful movies/tv shows/artists are) as I recall I've read the tvguide overhyped issue about "greatest shows" and it was included and they also mentioned it has won 50 awards, so that has to be something

This is one of the reasons I value Slate. Few organizations would take the time to follow through on a story as old as Columbine...and especially with these results that bet that many people who would like, or need, to hear about will never do so.

Pschopaths are dangerous characters, and all the more so for those who misunderstand them. This article sheds light on a horrible tragedy, but also reveals the need to really understanding what's going on...not just reaching for quick answers.

Knowing that we don't know why something happens is disquieting at best, but can be intolerable following a personal tragedy. So we reach for an answer to the burning question of "why?" Unfortunately, easy, quick answers are often wrong (this is one reason why innocent people are convicted sometimes).

But as an engineer I've learned that corrective action requires first correctly identifying the true source of the dysfunction. I believe the same applies in the human sphere...applying the wrong medicine due to a misdiagnosis could be misleading, or even dangerous.

Thank you for passing on this very helpful insight into the Columbine massacre.

Like John McCain, pretenses to civility rub off in campaign and combat situations. Despite his pretensions to the contrary, Chuck Colson is a down-&-dirty street fighter, who shows zero respect for his adversaries. I really liked the last line of the article: "Through decades of service to the needy, Colson has made himself one of America's greatest Christian leaders. Why would he tarnish that by becoming just another Gary Bauer?" I am not sure the Colson benefits politically from being compared to Bauer, at Bauer's expense, since they both fish in the same polluted ponds.

Sadly, moral absolutism itself leads to policy positions that work badly in a pluralistic society — which is what America is despite Fundamentalist resentment of fact. What could be worse for America's future than to have supported Bush's misbegotten war in Iraq then to use the full force of a religious community's conviction to advocate for teaching the indisputably ignorant lies of 'Intelligent Design," as science. Thus Charles Colson's "moral authority" has fueled two of the most destructive and disabling trends in American life. What is the end-effect of his jihad against gay rights? In-the-end, I believe they will change nothing and help no one while hurting many along the way. However my most central criticism of Colson's prison ministries is that they keep no records on recidivism. They champion their successes while burying their failures. It is normal to get religion is prison as it is normal to loose enthusiasm for religion once one enjoys the fellowship of the streets. Many of us believe that the money and energy would be more wisely spent on simple, secular job training. Even granting Colson's sincerity, no public money should be swept into this evangelical effort, simply because the evangelist has old and very dirty political connections.

Remember the Chuck Colson, who was the disgraced apparatchik from the Nixon White House? Remember what "Nixon's hatchet man" stood for then, before he went to prison for obstruction of justice? The sign on Colson's White House office wall said it all: " When you've got 'em by the ba**s, their hearts and minds will follow." Looks like some things do not change.
