Who's the IDIOT now?
by sdecato

First, just to set the record straight, Laser Disc was the winner of that format war and it was around for about 20 years, I don’t call that a loser. The loser in that war was the RCA CED Disc. The CED player was a lot cheaper than the Laser player but the software was very fragile. Also, I later found out that RCA was selling players at a loss. I went with the CED disc, than when that went down the toilet I went with Laser. I enjoyed that format for many years. With the Beta/VHS war, I went BETA because the picture quality was so much better. After being burned twice before, I decided to do a lot more research this time around and I went with Blu-ray. I was so sure about the format that I ended up purchasing three players before Toshiba threw in the towel. I know that you made a comment about Warner being bought out by Sony, but, you failed to mention how Paramount was bought out by Toshiba and that Toshiba even tried to buy out Warner. Cheaper isn’t always better.
