Of course! This is exactly how Obama has been able to the the "most improved debater" of the year. Those 2 wks he refused to debate, he has been studying what it is that Hillary does. Not only did he memorize facts, actually learn details of his own proposals on his website that he used to cite for answers to questions, he also learned tactics such bringing up specific encounters with real people. There were a few times in the Texas debate when he was clearly trying to remember facts that he had just memorized recently... the pauses and grasping. He has Hillary to thank for his improvement!
What he hasn't learned, because it CANNOT be learned over 2 wks, is Hillary's depth and breadth of not just knowledge but UNDERSTANDING, and her ability to hold a LOT of things in her mind all at once. Unfortunately, she hasn't been able to show off this most unique quality in the last two debates. I saw it when she spoke in Virginia, when she talked about global warming and abortion. And unfortunately, this kind of thing doesn't make for a good show in any event - but I think that it would serve all of us well in the White House and when she's sitting across the table with other leaders around the world.
AND, what he hasn't learned (or assimilated) is her PASSION for these issues, because that would make him a wonk, which the public disdains. He gets passionate, exercised if she "scores" a point with and argument.
Yes yes she made an ass of herself in the last few weeks, in the debates, in press conferences, etc, b/c she's that nerd in the 7th grade that the cool kids jeer at, and who when she tries to talk back just looks even sillier. That doesn't take away from her intelligence, her knowledge, her competence, her command. She shouldn't have stooped to 7th grade politics. She belongs in the Oval Office with her glasses and papers, GETTING THINGS DONE like a bitch.
AND it's not over for me yet. I still get to vote for her on Mar 4!!!!!!!
