I know EXACTLY where Shee-it came from. Please go back and watch the original "Airplane" movie. The 2 soul brother characters that can only speak jive say "Sheee-it" multiple times and what's even better is that they are subtitled. Sheee-it in jive apparently translates to "Golly."
