Cardinal in charge of miracles blames docs for agnosticism
by Liberty Lady

why is it so scary for people to believe that religion and science are like apples and trucks? Occasionally, I torture myself by watching EWTN. The Cardinal in charge of authenticating miracles started out stating that the Church was definitely interested in using technology to determine whether or not there is a rational explanation for an apparently miraculous occurence, but couldn't stop himself before he expressed his personal opinion that the rise in agnosticism was a direct result of physicians discovering the physical reason for a "miraculous" event. If doctors weren't so persnickety about insisting on finding the real reasons, people would be much happier believing in miracles. Once again, damned science is taking all the fun out of leading the blindly faithful!
