Sorry to disappoint you bzl, but it really does happen.

Maybe it depends on the area of the country in which you live, but Id venture a guess that it is more common on the "coasts" and "progressive" areas than, say, middle America or down south.

Even several years ago when I was in college & working as a cashier, I had a woman in my line tell another woman who had a few cans of formula on the conveyer belt that it was a shame she was feeding her baby that "stuff" when breastmilk was really so much healthier.

Its totally akin the crazy bible thumpers who go around, earnestly, trying to "save" people.
