Republicans must LOVE how easily they 'play' their base. If your hot button issue was, say, abortion, McCain's call would've warrned you 'a vote for the Dems will mean more abortions', or some such nonsense, and YOU FELL FOR IT.

Republicans are part of that "...fool some of the people, all the time..." crowd.
