I do hope that the fear tactic has run its course. You would think, and hope, that 6.5 years after 9/11, most people could approach the terrorist problem rationally so that we can devise cost-effective strategies as opposed to trillion dollar failed invasions.

Perhaps I'm naive, but I think the scare tactic will fall flat this November.
