"My aunt converted to the JWs. She murdered her son by refusing to allow him to have life saving surgery. Yes, it was murder. Thanks to people like you, a four-year-old child died screaming in pain from a benign brain tumor. I hope that makes you proud."
Again, to you, apologies on the loss of your young cousin.
In the last 30 years the medical profession has come a long way in bloodless surgery. My cousin's 6yo had heart surgery that was bloodless and was out of the hospital in shorter than the norm recuperation time.
My grandfather had a quadruple bypass w/o blood 20 years ago. So having surgery or other medical treatments is not at issue. We want medical care, but probably like most people, want the best care available.
Not knowing enough about your young cousin's situation I can't really comment.
Interestingly enough, every doctor who's become our GP has never been able to satisfactory answer the question, "So can you guarantee blood transfusions will save someone's life?"
