I didn't say or imply that expecting me to back up my claims is dim. What is dim that I have backed up all my claims with links, and you still ask me to back up my claim.

This one claim I did not back up with a link, but with the comment "elsewhere on Slate". So only a dim person would be already on Slate and not be able to find the article with a quick search on, oh say, the keyword "subprime".

Or are you not dim but rather deliberately obtuse, in that by asking for already provided references you still feel you are casting aspersions on the veracity of my comments?
